캐논, 1,510만화소 DSLR카메라 ‘EOS 50D’ 공식 발표




캐논이 신제품을 출시한다.
2008,9월말에 시장에 나올 신제품을 알아본다.

일본 캐논은 26일 1510만 화소 CMOS 센서와 영상엔진 ‘디직 4’를 탑재한 중급모델 DSLR카메라 ‘EOS 50D’를 선보이고 오는 9월말부터 판매한다고 발표했다.

캐논은 소문 무성한 5D 후속모델을 보류하고 중급 50D를 시장에 내놓는다고 한다.
EOS 50D는　지난 2007년 8월 출시한 EOS 40D에 이어 딱 1년만에 나온 중급모델 DSLR카메라로, 보다 강하된 해상도와 저노이즈화를 실현함으로써 고감도 촬영이 가능한 것이 특징이다.
또한 경이적인 초고감도 ISO 100 ~ ISO 12800로 촬영가능하다.

특히 캐논의 유명한 4세대 영상처리 엔진인 ‘디직4(DIGIC 4)’와 렌즈에 의해 주변 광량이 저하되는 것을 자동 보정하는 기능도 갖추고 있다.

예상 시장가격은 EOS 50D 보디가 15만엔 정도, EOS 50D·EF-S17-85 IS U 렌즈킷이 20만엔, EOS 50 D·EF-S18-200 IS 렌즈킷이 22만엔 정도로 책정됐다고 한다.

동시에 캐논은 EOS DIGITAL용 교환렌즈 ‘EF-S18-200mm F3.5-5.6 IS’를 9월말 출시한다 고한다.
이들의 가격은 8만 9000엔.
광각에서 망원까지를 커버하는 11배 줌(35mm환산으로 29-320 mm)을 갖췄다.
이 발표 현장에는 인기 영화배우이며 EOS 50D 커뮤니케이션 파트너인 와타나베 켄이 나왔다고한다.



이제품은 지난해 보급기종 시장에서의 돌풍을 기반으로 최근 중고급기종 시장에 총공세를 퍼붓고 있는 니콘을 추격을 따돌리기 위한 포석으로 풀이된다.
초고감도 ISO로 빛이 부족한 공간에서의 사진촬영이 편하며, 특히 고감도에서 발생하는 노이즈 억제를 위해 4단계 노이즈 차단기능도 갖추고 있다고 한다.

캐논의 최상위 기종인 EOS 1Ds Mark III'와 'EOS 1D Mark III(프레스용)에 탑재된 렌즈별 자동초점(AF) 미세조정기능이 EOS 50D에 장착되고 있다.  
액정모니터는 3인치 92만 화소 LCD가 장착됐다. 또 액정 모니터를 보면서 촬영할 수 있는 라이브뷰 기능도 장착됐다. EOS 50D에 적용된 라이브뷰는 특히 카메라가 사람얼굴을 인식해 초점을 맞춰주는 얼굴인식 우선모드 AF도 제공해 편리성을 더했다.

이번 출시로 인해 EOS 5D의 후속작은 내년 이후에나 출시될 전망으로 본다.
