토요타(Toyota)사태

세계는 토요타(Toyota) 쇼크로 뜨거워진다.
도요타 자동차의 최대 리콜이 주는 결과를 조심스럽게 예견해 본다.

차종에 관계없이 같은 부품을 사용 한다면 가격이 다른 신모델이 무의미 해 진다.
토요타 사태는 가격이 다른 8개 모델에 똑같은 부품을 사용해서 대량리콜이 발생된 것으로 본다.

자동차 업계 세계 최고 순위에서 휘청거리는 도요타는 이제 얼마나  추락할지 아무도 모르는 일이다.
거대한 경제적 손실을 감당할 만큼 도요타가 강력한 회사 일지라도 그 방대한 판매망이 흔들리게 되는것 까지 감안한다면 도요타와 그 판매망은 큰 손실을 입게 되리라 본다.

외신 보도를 보면 미국을 시작으로 전세계에서 그 결함 악셀레이터 부품을 사용한 차종을 리콜해야 하는 것은 틀림없는 사실이기 때문에 예견되는 숫자는 1000만대를 상회 한다고 한다.

미국이 금융위기에서 한숨돌리려고 안간임 쓰는 이때에 구조조정으로 몸살을 앓은 미 자동차 업계가 이런 찬스를 구경만 하고 바라보지는 않을 것이다.
이미 미국내 자동차 마케팅 업계는 도요타를 바꾸는 고객에게 큰 프리미엄을 주면서 고객 뺏기 작업에 들어간 것으로 전하고 있다.

또 미주에서 많은 렌터카 업계에서 고객과의 신뢰도 때문에 아예 도요타 자동차를 퇴출 한다는 뉴스도 있다.

2010년 벽두에서 자동차 업계의 지각변동이 일어나고 있으며 도요타는 업계1위에서 내려 앉을지도 모르는일이다.

생산라인을 일시 중단하고 결함 원인분석에 들어간것으로 알며, 팔았던 자동차 수백만대를  리콜 수리한다는 것은 사실상 신차 생산회사로서는 곤혹스럽기 짝이 없는 일일 것이다.

그래도 고객과의 신뢰로서 빠른 리콜 결정은 좋은 모습이라고 생각된다.
한 기업이 어려움에 처하는것을 볼때 이를 그렇지 않은 기업은  타산지석의 교훈으로 삼아야 한다고 본다.  

이번여파로 인해 미국내 시장 점유율에서 크게 후퇴할지도 모른다고 생각되며 상대적으로 현대자동차(Hyndai Kia motor co. LTD)나 지엠이(General Motors)가장 좋은 기회가 될것으로 생각된다.

2009년도 셰계10대 자동차메이커별 순위는 2009년 상반기 카유닛 판매 숫자로 보는것이며 매출과는 상관 없는 것이며 원본 출처는 여기 이다.

도요타 코롤라 현재 가속페달 결함 문제를 수리하기위한 리콜 차종 8개 모델은 미국에서 판매를 중단했다는 뉴스가 26일자로 발표 되고 있다. 리콜은 미주를 포함해서 유럽 중국가지 이어진다고 하며 그 차종이 생산도 일시 중단한다고 한다. 캐나다, 미국 켄터키와 텍사스주(州)의 5개 공장에서 2월 1일부터 해당 모델의 생산을 중단한다고 공식 발표한것으로 뉴스는 보도되고 있다. 문제의 8개 모델은 (1)코롤라(Toyota Corolla), (2) 매트릭스(Toyota Matrix),(3) 2005-2010 아발론(Toyota Avalon), (4) 2009-2010 라브(Toyota RAV), (5)2007-2010 캠리(Toyota Camry),(6) 툰드라(Toyota Tundra Truck), (7)2010 하이랜더(2010 Toyota Highlander), (8) 2008-2010 세콰이아(Toyota Sequoia)이다. 가속페달 공정라인 교정 신속하게 마무리 된다면 곧 생산하리라 본다. 도요타 매트릭스 우리나라에는 상기 리콜되는 차종이 얼마나 있는지는 모르지만 소유자는 결함이 수리될때까지 조심해서 혹시라도 사고와 연결되지 않도록 조심해야되리라 생각된다.

4. Hyundai-Kia Hyundai-Kia has emerged as the world's fourth largest car manufacturer. The car company showed global sales for the first half of 2009 at 2,153,000 units. Hyundai Motor Company was established in 1967. It became the Hyundai Kia Automotive Group when Hyundai Motor Company purchased 51% of Kia Motors in 1998.

5. Ford Presently, Ford Motor Company is world's fifth largest car manufacturer with 2,145,000 units of global sales. This year, Hyundai-Kia edged out Ford of the fourth position. In 2007, Ford fell from second to third-ranked car maker for the first time in 56 years, behind only General Motors and Toyota.

6. PSA Peugeot-Citroen The French car company sold 1,586,900 units in 2009. Last year it showed a sale of 1,844,700 units.

7. Honda The Honda Motor Company secures the seventh place with sales units of 1,586,000 compared to last year's 2,022,00 units. Honda is the world's largest manufacturer of motorcycles as well as the world's largest manufacturer of internal combustion engines..

8. Nissan Nissan Motors is in the eight position with 1,545,976 units. Last year it sold 2,013,611 units in the first half. Due to poor financial condition, Nissan entered an alliance with Renault S.A. of France in 1999.

9. Suzuki Suzuki Motor Corporation is the ninth largest car manufacturer in the world. The car company sold 1.152,000 units this year compared to 2008's 1,283,000 units.

10. Renault Renault is the world's tenth largest car maker with 1,106,989 units this year. Last year, it sold 1.326,164 units. The Nissan-Renault Alliance is world's fourth largest car maker if their individual units were taken together. Nissan-Renault Alliance sold 2,652,965 units this year.
